How Long is your typical contract? A. 48hrs, We are so sure you will see our value we only need a 48 hour rolling contract. As soon as you don't see value in what we do, or the project is completed early, let us go..
Q You are gathering a substantial amount of information about our business. How do we know you wont share this information?
A. It is true, we don't hold back on our questions and we will request financial budget verses actual numbers. We may request information on performance and any disciplinary issues on individuals etc. However, we wont ask for anything we don't need and we provide and sign a Non Disclosure Agreement that will protect you at the highest level.
Q How can you help during seasonal periods November through April?
A. We can offer management solutions for any need. Our experienced team will have already worked and have experience in the same field of hospitality that you are in. This is offered only as part of our regular consulting contract.
Q Can you help with Temporary Staff? Servers and Chefs etc.
A. Yes we can but only as part of our other services. More notice the better. We have 'on-call' staff that fit every position. Billed through FB Consulting Naples. Hourly temp staff rates will be given at time of request.
Q How many clients do you have at any one time?
A. Usually no more than three. Any more than this and we cant give the service needed or we have to operate in too many places at once. You pay for us, we cant let you down on a night or meeting we need to attend.
Q We have just one area we need help with controlling can you assist with this.
A. Yes, but know its not always that simple. Poorly managed payroll and overtime for example may require more systemic changes, or change of job descriptions to ensure increased productivity. But this too can have knock on effects that if not properly managed can do more harm than good. One or two recommendations from us will probably not solve the issue, only root cause changes over several areas of business will get the required result in this instance. If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. Clearly list and describe the services you offer. Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.
Q. If we hire full time staff that you have provided do you require any commission?
A, Yes. Just one months salary for Management or estimated two weeks pay based on a 40hr work week plus expected gratuities combined.
Q. If we contract with your company do we have to pay sales tax or any payroll expenses?
A. No. Consulting services are not subject to sales tax. Each consultant is responsible for his or her own payroll tax's as Independent Contractors. Hourly staff are the same.
Q. What are you going to need from us?
A. We will need to know what the problems are from your perspective, understanding that the fix may not be what you think it is. We will seek the root cause of any issue. Free flowing information that is not hindered by delay or ego's so that we do not waste your time. A signed contract for our services. Once a contract is signed we must have FULL access of all Food and Beverage operations front and back of house and attend (with expected contributions) all senior management meetings. It will be up to the client if we are to just report what is needed to be done or actually oversee changes. If we are to oversee FBCN must have full Autonomy of the entire operations.
